<strong>"This call is now being recorded"<br></strong>Today I had an unnerving experience while on the phone with my mom. In the midst of our conversation, there was a short tone and a voice that said "<em>This call is now being recorded</em>". Um, WHAT? I promptly ended the conversation and took to the Google machine.<br><strong>Here's what I found out</strong><br>Google voice has a ghost that apparently decides to enable call recording inexplicably. OK. To be sure, voice recording is a nifty feature to be used purposefully. However, it is very creepy when it occurs unprompted.
